Goodbye

Hey All,

Yesterday was officially the last day Columbia Art Space was open.  We are sad to be closing and want to thank everyone who helped us and supported us along the way, it’s meant so much to us.  Our grant here in Columbia is up and other things in life are leading us all in new and exciting directions.  We will always remember Columbia and and the experiences we’ve had here.  Thanks again to everyone who supported us.

Arts Center at Rocky Mount, NC

Hey All!

If you are in the greater eastern North Carolina area you should head over to the Arts Center in Rocky Mount.  They have several great shows up right now two of which are of particular interest to Columbia Art Space.  Maia Leppo (of CAS) has three of her brooches on display in the “Handmade” exhibit.  Also up right now is “Quenched” an exhibit featuring the work of instructors who have taught at Pocosin Arts’ Cabin Fever Reliever.  Both these shows are beyond good so do yourself a favor and check them out!!

Season’s Greetings!

Hey All!

We really enjoyed the River Town Christmas activities.  The parades and other events were great and CAS was pretty busy.  It’s great to see people out and about town.  We still have our ornament show up and in fact we just got in some more ornaments this morning.

We are now also carrying books, note cards, and calendars featuring the historic homes of Columbia, NC.  32 houses are represented, including ours!, and there’s lots of great history and trivia about the town and these houses.  Check them out, they would make a great Christmas present!!
